Hi I am a teenage girl. I am 5'7'' and weigh 157 lbs. I have just starting lifting in my schools weight room. 3-4 days a week. I would love any advice you can give me!!!

What's you goal? Lose weight, build muscle, etc.

I would try to find someone who works out at your gym and see if they can show you some workouts.

    Compound movements are great.

    Squats, deadlifts, bench press, etc.

Start small and work your way up.

Are you following a program? A progressive overload full body program will get you the most/fastest results as a new lifter.
Those programs tell you what to do, when to do it, weights, reps, sets, etc.

I also recently started and found YouTube a good way to learn about proper form. Watch multiple videos on the same move as they all tend to explain different things better.

Also, technically people under 18 are not allowed on this forum. If you are younger, Sparkteen is the place to be.

make sure you don't overload with weight until you are finished growing. Work on form until them.
