anyone else enjoying tonights super moon? Really glad the clouds moved so I could get a good shot!

    It was huge here in Wellington, NZ last night. I got some fantastic shots but for some reason the moon doesn't look as big in them as it actually was with the naked eye.

    It was huge here in Wellington, NZ last night. I got some fantastic shots but for some reason the moon doesn't look as big in them as it actually was with the naked eye.

    do you have a way to crop? Unless you have a telephoto lens they never look as big :) just crop it in :)

    We had it last night & the darn clouds were in the way :grumble: AND it's too cold to stand out there waiting for the clouds to pass :laugh:

    the clouds were in the way earlier this evening and I was dissapointed... decided to stay up a bit later to see if the clouds would pass :)

    Yep we saw it. I live in the countryside and I actually looked out the window as I thought I had left the outside light on... Turns out it was just the super moon! Amazing how bright it was.

    The full moon especially the super full moon is always a bad thing for me at work. The crazies come out and thats not good in law enforcement.
