What should my calorie intake be?

I've been dieting for a few months now to get back on track after I gained some weight back and I went from 210 to 190. All the calorie calculators online say that because I've started to workout as well with my diet that I should be eating a minimum of 1500 calories a day. I haven't changed my goal in my app from 1200 though and I'm not sure if it's really true that because I'm active my calorie count needs to be changed. Now that being said I'm now active about 4 times a week and I walk a lot at work on the weekends so I'm averaging at least the five miles a day and during the week that includes a run/walk combo. Someone please help as I'm confused and sadly I'm the only one in my life that I know of that's trying to get fit and healthy.

MFP will give you a base, based on the data and goals you entered. Again, that is a base and you will be earning additional calories through exercise.0

Yes but I created the goals and data in my app two years ago when I first started losing weight and I wasn't exercising at all with it. Now I'm back to dieting but I've added in a lot of exercise. We're talking at least five miles or more a day whether it's walking or the walk/run intervals I do. Should I update the data?0
