If you find it please give it a talking to and send it back to me
on a more serious note, I have a lot of reasons to keep on track but I am stuck at home most days and the mindless eating is frustrating. I don't keep the junk in the house but I have gotten creative with healthy ingredients - apples are great as a cobbler/pie...and on and on...help

Before you reach to put something in your mouth, take a brisk 10 minute (or longer) walk. If you're still hungry when you return, then it's hunger. If not, just grab a 1/2 serving fruit or veggies and carry on. Many times, thirst can masquerade as stomach growling which sends a signal for food. Move and drink another glass of water. Log your food every time you eat so you are always aware of what you have left for the day and maybe that will help you to make better choices and stay motivated.0

thanks for the great tips Navyrice1- I've been logging the food at the end of the day but doing it throughout the day would definitely keep me from mindlessly munching (and if I do I"ll see the results immediately). I've prepped some veg to snack on and I'm pretty good at the water (40+ ounces a day).
Time for a new habit and go for a walk- I need to get a battery for my pedometer and that will help with the motivation too.
Thanks again0 -
In order to prevent going over my count I like to preplan my meals and snacks for the day in the morning. I also try to have a fruit or veggie snack with a whole bottle of water every 2 to 3 hours. I drink at least six 16.9 oz bottles of water a day.0

being more organized with the food is a great idea jamie - I make meal plans but I never put in the snacks...I will do that before I head out to grocery shop this morning...the list is sorely lacking in fruits I see some room for improvement here
I have a 20 ounce water bottle that gets refilled at least 2 more times most days
Thanks Jamie0
