I am busy with my kids and have a lot of health issues. I am ready to workout but feel more motivated with someone else as a workout buddy.

Having a fitness partner is ok, as long as she or he works out with you and doesn't give into your desire to not work out. I had a partner and it didn't make a big difference. I'd get a text message, "Rough night last night, not going to make it to the gym." and I'd stay in bed. Or I'd send a message, "It's too cold. Tomorrow?"
When I started working out at the gym, I got a trainer which made a world of difference for me. But you can join classes if a trainer is not for you or in your budget. I take yoga classes, which I love. There are a lot of great classes at my gym. Check them out. Make some new friends there and ask them to help you be accountable.
If you have a Fitbit or a Jawbone, you can make friends there and compete with them for steps and such.0
