Does anyone else use them ketone test strips?

I love them lol!! Mine finally went to purple today (moderate) and it's such a sense of accomplishment. Esp after I was staring at a box of cheez its and talked myself out of eating them :)

Also feel free at add me!

Pee strips? Yes they can help but also they can build frustration if you don't show on the strips but have everything else right.

LOL Those are fun. I would be quite satisfied with myself when I saw it change colour. LOL

I've heard that the Ketostix become less accurate as you become fully keto adapted. Apparently, eventually the body stops peeing out the extra ketones and uses them instead. I've been keto for over 3 months, and the test strips are usually trace or small for me now, even on days when I eat very few carbs. Small to moderate used to be more my norm.

The blood tests are the most accurate but it is a few dollars per test strip, and not in my budget.

There is a reusable breath ketone analyzer called the "Ketonix" on the market. If you would like a lot of information go to the "Livin' La Vida Low-Carb Blog.
