Small changes

So, I have had a tendency in the past to over think weight loss. It lead to a lot of unhealthy habits and unsustainable weight loss ( mind you, back when I would do this, I actually didn't need to loose weight).
I was really nervous about coming back to mfp because last time I did this, I was eating 800 calories and that's just not something I can function on. It was flat out dangerous for me.
I've been back for about a month and I'm finding that it's been really positive. I've used t as a method to be aware, rather than be obsessed. I've made really small changes. Walking on breaks. Packing a ton of vegetables to snack on at work and protein bars or shakes for lunch. Nuts and fruit for breakfast. I've learned that I'm a grazer and the only "meal" I truly crave is dinner. Otherwise, I'm happy grazing all day long.
I think learning your body and what works best for you is super important. We're all different. For me, this has been a long journey of self acceptance, self love, and understanding that life is bigger than what numbers are on the scale. (Still fighting with my aversion to scales.. But I'm getting there).. With all that being said, I've successfully lost 10lbs and I'm excited to continue eating better and making small life changes to better my over all health.
There's my rant for the day.
Feel free to add me!
