Bellybutton

I'm not sure what weight I am now, but I have been losing weight recently (having moved to a different country and having to exercise more, and being busy so not eating as much). When I started losing in April last year I had just hit 15st, and I hovered around 13st for a while, now I'm probably slightly less than that. Today, I rubbed my tummy while standing up. When I rubbed just above my bellybutton, I could feel the top of the hole there, it almost felt like cartilage (but only when rubbing downwards). Is this normal? Like a result of the weightloss or is there something weird about my bellybutton? It freaked me out when it happened.

I hate belly buttons
I always have this weird thought that if you poke a belly button your finger will go straight inside to the guts and icky stuff
Odd, completely unhelpful, but true
I blame you for me thinking of fingers in belly buttons now0 -

Don't ever put your finger in your belly button and then smell your finger. That is all I have to add to this.0
