Anyone know what tracker can be worn swimming for activity, distance, calories burned, etc?
Would really like one that will track regular activity, distance, stairs, steps, calories burned, etc
So many will track most activities, but can not be worn while swimming.

Also, I have nothing to connect to except my laptop.
The device must be able to connect and work with a laptop or desktop.

I'm using the basis peak and I do like it. It is waterproof and has a built in heart rate monitor. I'm not sure if it links to a laptop. I wish it would link with my fitness pal.

The TomTom Multisport and Garmin Vivoactive have swim modes.

Stay away from Misfit, I bought one and it's a piece of junk.

Garmin 920XT. Designed for triathletes, but does everything you want. Highly recommend it. Good investment.

Also at the top end of the price spectrum ... $200 more than the Vivoactive. The 920 is a great tool for triathletes, but unless you need native power meter support and full multisport/transition tracking ... it might be a bit more tracker than most people need.

I love my 920xt but is pretty pricey and it is a bit overkill even for me and I use it for triathlon. It also doesn't count stairs.
The tomtom or Vivoactive would be a better option.

The polar A300 it will connect to your PC, but not to MFP unless you have an Apple device. It tracks swimming, but doesn't do stairs, just steps. You can get a better price on Amazon
