Hi! I've been lucky enough to recently be able to move to Canada, starting my new life in Vancouver...and as I settle in, I find myself eager to get into shape so I can enjoy my new life here to the fullest! I look forward to finding other people looking for fitness on this community.

Enjoy it! I lived in BC for a few years and that used to be the fittest time in my life. You can get anywhere around Vancouver by walking/bus/Skytrain, it's a wonderful city.

Thanks to all! I'm from Manila, so the change in temperature is really surprising to me....and I am loving the walkability of this place it's great.

Manila! That will be a change. ;) Vancouver is probably our mildest city so hopefully it won't be too much of a switch for you. :) I love Vancouver. It's laid out the way a big city should be. I live in Calgary, and the city just sprawls - it is hard to walk anywhere... Plus we get about 30C colder in January. LOL We'll have a foot of snow in February but you'll have daffodils. :) I get jealous!
