Twinkies are coming back!

For my American friends, who have been without their bomb shelter proof snacks since last fall, the Twinkie is returning July 15th.

I'm really starting to think this has just been a huge publicity stunt.

I used to like the donut sticks, but the last time I tried them they were really dry. Oh Well. Didn't need them anyway :)

I gave up Twinkies so long ago because they were too greasy, and they pack A LOT of carbs. Swiss Cake Rolls are great, but still have to watch it.

Hate to bust your bubble- but you can lose weight and still eat a Twinkie (or Swiss Roll).

I never liked twinkies. I'm more of a swiss cake and nutty bar lady myself :)
A tip though, the store brand version of swiss cake and nutty bar have less calories and less carbs sooo I usually end up buying those heh.

Anyways... Twinkies must be the least healthy food invented. The calories are totally empty. Is their any nutritional value to putting that twinkie in ur body?

Was there any doubt they would be coming back?
    The company went bankrupt.
The assets went on the auction block
Someone would buy them, and start over
    without the pricey union contracts.

It's obvious when you look at history of business.

No twinkies in our house in the middle of the street. None of these either...can't say no. Hilarious post and thanks

BTW....why even be serious about any of this??? Have a little fun everyday. :drinker:

Little Debbie "lives" 20 minutes from our house in the middle of the street. They have a retail store with fresh product. We never go in there ever. Never. Not gonna happen. Wouldn't be prudent. We'd rather burn a ton of calories not for any Twinkies, Zingers, or Little Deb...but, hmmmmmm....a bit of The Balvenie neat???

Heh...what a great post and if you are taking this cereal....go sow some oats. :glasses:

I believe that I've eaten exactly 2 Twinkies in my life sometime around the age of 10. I do not need more, but I'm happy to see that they're coming back for my friends that like them.
