Help! Can't stick with it

I am great at tracking for about a week or two and then slowly quit. Sometimes in my head I think "Is this really possible to do? Will I really lose weight tracking what I eat?" Those of you with success did you track every day with no slip ups? Will it really work?

Have read any of the success stories on MFP?

Of course there are slip-ups. Of course every once in awhile you'll forget to log something. The trick is to work at this every day, have as a goal to log every single thing, and over time, yes, this works like gangbusters. I've lost around 35 pounds since starting MFP back in May.0

Yes, I track. Yes, it works. I've lost 124 pounds doing it.0

Please set a date that is long enough to see results, like maybe 6 months, and just soldier through. What you are describing is total self sabotage. You are going to have to learn to work past your inner negative voices (we all have them!) to succeed.0
