eating loads but still losing weight??!

Hi,

I only joined MFP a few weeks ago and generally it's been going really well and I've been eating below my number of calories and have been losing weight steadily, which is fantastic! However over the last week I've been slipping quite a bit and have been eating way over my calories a day, but weighing myself now, I still seem to have lost weight. I weighed myself over the last three days and the number is still going down - I'm not complaining, but I don't understand why if I'm eating more, I'm still losing weight - I dont want to fall in to the bad habit of thinking it's ok to eat what I want and assume that I'm still going to get the outcome I want - what's going on?!?!?

    Although you have days where you eat over, you are probably still at a calorie deficit for the week. Also, you are probably eating less on the days you go over than before you were tracking.
