Really not a fish can but it is used in so many healthy eating recipes.. Anyone got any delicious recipes that aren't too.. Fishy?.. I'm bored of cooking the same old meat dishes too so any recipes welcome!

    Tuna steak isn't very fishy.

I love salmon, herring, trout, mackerel, tuna. Not the cardboardy tasteless white fish.

    Have you tried other seafood - shrimp/prawn, crab/lobster, clams/oyster?

I don't care for fish other than sushi- and even then I'm peculiar. I pretty much ONLY eat Tuna steaks- they are the least "fishy" of the fishes.

But you don't NEED to eat fish if you don't really like it.

Look up Parmesan crusted tilapia. Really simple and quick to make and not very fishy (at least to me).

I can't stand fish and there are no recipes that make it taste less "fishy". I don't eat fish. Problem solved.

If you really don't like fish, then don't eat it. But if it's the 'fishy' taste of fish that you don't care for, then the white fish types are probably going to be more your taste. Try cod, swai, walleye. Also, soaking fish in either milk or salkwater overnight and that will take out any fishy taste.

Try broiling/oven cod with lots of lime juice and some of your favorite hot sauce. After its cooked, top with fresh slices of avocado. I love it.

Sardines or Pilchards in tomato sauce, mashed into paste with paprika and chilli on hot buttered toast.

Use chicken instead in those healthy recipes. The cooking time might need to be extended 10 minutes or so.

If you are sick of the same meats all the time you might need to find ways to be creative with your fish.

Here's some cooking styles to google, for variety's sake:

    Moroccan, Cajun, Creole, Mediterranean

Swai is a pretty good, mild and a little sweet and inexpensive. I like it better than tilapia.
Also tuna steak or try shark steak if you can find it.

Simple fish recipe that removes some of the fish taste, best used with Salmon, Tuna, tilapia, or red snapper style fish. Preheat oven to 400 F wet fish with water and place on Pam sprayed baking sheet. Mix 1/4 cup of Corn Flake or Bread Crumbs with 1/2 cup Bakers sweet shredded coconut, cover fish with the mixture. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes until coconut is a light toasted brown color. Then take it out and enjoy.,

Get it fresh, it'll be less 'fishy' tasting. I'm not a fan either, but my mom always took strips, rolled them in a ball then fried them. Not the healthiest option though. XD Seriously, though, if you don't like fish, don't eat it. There's no rule saying you have to. There's only a few ways I'll eat fish, and the only one I actually like is sushi.

Fluke and flounder aren't very fishy either. Typically, the white, flaky fishes aren't too bad. And if they are, then they are going bad.
