Hi,

So after a month of being on the site... I decide to finally pluck up the courage to venture into the message boards... Seems i miss out on so much support and community spirit... but I was determined that the first 4 weeks would be myself challenge as didn't want to get confused with all the different advice, suggestions and methods.

So about time I said hi :) I'm really pleased with the plan and exercise routine I finally figured out for my body, I think everyone needs to approach it differently and their is no right or wrong way just what you can / can't live with long term and what works for you.

So looking for happy supportive people to continue the journey ahead with... its a long road and would like some company.

Thanks

Hi, my name is Tricia and I'm relatively new to MFP. I found the app on my phone - guess I had downloaded it sometime ago but never paid attention to it. Anyhow, my son got engaged on June 1, and I decided that I need to get serious about losing weight. I came across this app (on my phone) two weeks ago and decided to sign up. I'm sooo excited - I've lost 6 pounds in two weeks. So now I've decided to join this wonderful community to meet people on the weight loss journey, make new friends and get support and motivation.

I am fairly new to MFP as well. I had added it one year ago but only used it for a month and quit myself. I am also fairly to the message boards but love the support you get here. It makes it a little easier to stay motivated. I think the key is to figure out an exercise and diet program that works for you. It is important to remember we are all different and what works for one person will not work for another. For me I do 30 to 45 minutes of low impact aerobics 6 days a week and try and eat healthy and not snack between meals. So far I have made steady progress and am starting to feel a lot better and have more energy. Keep it up everybody...we can do it.
