I thought I had read an interesting post on here about how depending on how much you are trying to lose is a good indicator of how fast you should be losing, but I can't seem to find it now.
I have been losing at a rate of roughly 1 pound per week, which has worked really well for me so far. I'm interested to hear how people have changed their rate of loss from when they started compared to when they get closer to goal. I'm not interested in super speedy weight loss, but rather a discussion of what has worked for others as their most sustainable rate.
Thanks!

I try to keep my loss at approximately 1% per week. Its hit/miss if I actually get that, but thats my goal. and it pretty much averages out to that in the long run.

Yes! I had set it to 2 pounds a week at first like many do.. it was not enough calories at all. When I changed it to 1450 calories I feel so much better and still losing. When I incorporated more protein the better I feel...have more energy. Some days I go over a hundred or so calories if needed. It really doesnt feel like a diet anymore. I feel like Im getting the proper nutrition as well. Ive been following macros as close as possible.

Its not a race for me anymore. Look up TDEE.
Its really was a wake up call on how many calories are needed to lose, gain or maintain.
