    You're only eating 900 calories a day?

900 is not enough. It is not balance, it is borderline starving yourself.

If you're new to this, sometimes people notice a change in appetite when changing diet routines. 900 calories a day is not enough as you stated, so if you're getting full quickly, consider calorie dense options like cooking with olive oil, eating peanut butter, nuts, etc.

Just today was 900 my goal is around 1500 but I aim for 1200 due to not measuring every morsel. Just to give myself room for measurement error. I understand that 1200 is the min a female body requires but went over haul on healthy groceries n ate what I felt was good for today. I am actually stuffed after dinner. Going to let it settle n try some cheese to fill my mags gap I got goin on today. But I'm just frustrated cuz one min it seems like I have to watch everything n now today I have to eat. I can't seem to find a balance.

As long as you know not to eat that low regularly. As suggested above, maybe find calorie dense options to up your calories for the day, like sauteing your veggies in some butter or oil.

You don't need to demonize foods... just eat what you want in moderation so that it fits your calorie goals. The only "bad foods" are the ones that put you over for the day.

That makes sense. It took me a couple months to really find a balance and listen to my body. You've got good things going for you- you know what a healthy calorie goal is and you're picking healthy food choices. Be patient and keep tracking...you'll find your balance!

^^This too. Nutrition is important, but a cookie or two when it fits your calories is good too.

Okay, FIRST, there are no bad foods. SECOND, you need to eat your calories. Got peanut butter?

That wasn't directed at you, OP.

1 - you need to weigh all of your solid foods - you have too many foods in your diary that are measured - 1 cup, tablespoon, 1 serving, etc. Your calorie counts are likely quite far off due to measuring rather than weighing.
2 - please use full words when typing in the forum, and not text shorthand. It's very difficult for most of us to understand much of what you are saying. I'm not saying this to be rude, just to be honest.

See, @new_obsession, when you quote someone on a forum, you're directing your comment to them.

I quoted Sabine, therefore I was directing my comment (which was a joke, btw) to Sabine.

    Carry on.

OP, I've been counting calories on and off for the last four years. I'm down about 40 pounds from my highest weight and I still find some days to be a struggle. Sometimes I can stay under my goal no problem, some days I can't seem to appease my hunger. Part of the journey is finding out what works for you. Good luck.

I truly do not have a problem reading what OP is saying. "R" and "y" are very simple to understand as they sound exactly like the word they are replacing.

I guess growing up with text talk makes it easier for me. I didn't even notice the first time I was reading.
