hello, couple of months back i was 90kg which is overweight for a 177cm (5'9) and after 4 months of exercise doing nothing other then using the treadmill! i have gotten my weight to 67kg and im also 15% and i think its time to stop using the treadmill and instead focus more on weight lifting, wouldn't you agree?
my body looks kinda like my profile picture but a little bit smaller, that picture was taken when i was 79kg and not much has change other then my body is smaller then it used to and reason for that is like i said, i only used the treadmill
but now im aiming at making my body look better and i wanted to know when can i achieve it? when can i get a V shape, 6 pack and 9-10 % of fat? will it take 3 months? 6 months or a year?
here is my diet: morning: boiled eggs/banana/wheat toast afternoon: turkey/tuna sandwich/fruits 6-8pm fruits and also 6-9 glass of water a day.
is my diet good let me know

You are missing vegetables.
If you want to build muscle you need to do strength training.0 -

Most of us will never get there. Just too much work and effort. Read several internet stories of models with their "six pack" and the work, diet and effort required. I'd rather be in "good" shape and still have a life.
A reasonably good shape is good enough for this 60 year old.0 -
Ok, based on what you typed, you have lost ~50lb in 4 months, or 2.95lb/week. That is WAY to fast for a sub 200lb person. I'm all for losing weight fast, but you are probably doing more harm than good at that rate. Your typed diet seems to imply that you are still losing at a very fast rate.
First, fix your diet. It doesn't matter what you eat if you are losing weight too fast. Since you are already at ~150lb, you should seriously slow it down to 1lb/week or less, possibly even go into maintenance. That would be ~1900 calories + exercise calories at a minimum. Also, make sure you get enough protein (0.64g-0.8g/lb on average per day), fat (0.35g/lb I believe is the minimum), and the rest can be carbs. How much water you drink is also irrelevant, if you are thirsty drink something.
Second, make weight lifting a priority. Do something like StrongLifts 5x5, a whole body beginner workout routine with progressive overloading. You won't build muscle if you are still eating at a deficit (maybe some, but definitely not enough to make a significant difference), but you can build strength and preserve muscle on the way down to 10% body fat. Once you get there, start bulking. Start doing your research on proper bulking/cutting now and formulate a good plan for the future.
Don't expect amazing results overnight, just keep plugging away and you should see change in 6 months time. It may not be exactly what you want, but just keep going and eventually you'll get there.
(Sorry, I work in lb, just know that 1kg=2.2lb)0 -
Not to be rude, but I will be blunt. You've made several posts regarding body composition lately and just phrased it differently.
Your post from another thread: "i just want to be a bodybuilder all i want is that hot male body with a 6 pack and a V and look slim not huge like a bodybuilder thats why im aiming at 9% fat"
Chill out, it's a process. Don't fret over length of time or other variables. Keep putting in the work and the results will follow if you are consistent.
You need to work on your mental aspect as well though....otherwise you're going to move down a slippery slope once you do get to lower body fat levels, since it will become more difficult for visible changes to be seen. Do NOT compare yourself to others, especially people that you see in magazines, etc or your going to be in for a world of disappointment. Focus on you vs. you, and bettering yourself a little more everyday.0 -
It will take as long as it takes. Stop worrying about if you'll get there in 3 months or 9 months because there are tons of variables. Focus on you, do what you can, forget everyone else, it will happen.0

Somewhere between 6 months and never. Probably closer to the latter.0

You'll never add muscle if you are eating at a caloric deficit. Your body grows muscle on the excess calories you are consuming.
How long it takes depends on far too many unknown and future factors to even try to estimate a guess. Fix your nutrition first then hit the gym, gauge your progress, rinse and repeat.0 -
come on guys, you're all wrong. It will take precisely 671 days. Start marking off the calendar0
