I'm 20 and I love writing. I usually write a lot of poetry and trying my hand at blogging. (With no luck.) Regrettably, I weigh 250 lbs.. When I was around the age of 16, I stayed around 170 until I got into college. I'm probably the worst couch potato ever lol. My idea of fun is vegging on the couch and watch an entire TV series in a day. I'm actually lactose intolerant so no milk, instant mashed potatoes, ice cream, too much bread, etc. And in case you're wondering, yeah it sucks lol. I would LOVE to meet new people and make friends to help me help myself. I think a support system is what helps keep someone motivated during something this difficult. You're welcome to send friend requests and messages.

Try a fitness tracker. They have some that are inexpensive. In addition to MFP, it will be just one more thing helping to push you to your goal. Some have a reminder when you have been sitting too long. It is fun to track your progress. So far, I am down 5 lbs and it has been easy. MFP is keeping me honest and I know where the line is. Now I work out so I can eat more an still stay under my goal. It is great. Best of luck!0
