which of these would be more effective for weight loss and building up my fitness??

30 mins on the elliptical at a steady pace

or

15 mins on the elliptical doing HIIT and 15 mins doing pilates/some kind of toning workout

    I would think that it would be best to mix it up. Alternate days and find other activities to mix it up even more. Keep the body on its toes and guessing what you are going to do next.
