Breaking habits

Hello, due to recent injuries over the last few years I had gained 4 stone. At my heaviest I was 15.5 stone. I am 6,1 so my family said its not that noticeable because I'm a tall guy and I was 'filling out' but I could see myself getting bigger everyday and done nothing about it.

While being injured I was depressed that I couldn't play football (soccer) and ended up playing Xbox and end up comfort eating. Then getting over my ankle injury I would feel I was too unfit to play football with my friends who were a lot fitter than me. That would turn to comfort eating again. I was never in full control of my diet because I lived at home and my mum used to buy lots of rubbish food that was full of suger and made me binge. I would binge because I was unhappy I was fat and I felt that what's point I'm never going to change and lose weight.

To all of the changes I have made I owe it all to my girlfriend, we moved in together and instantly we made a conscious effort to eat healthy. We do shopping together, cook together and run together. I left the Xbox at my parents because I didn't want to slip into the old ways of being lazy. I'm playing football once a week now at a lower standard but I'm really happy.

I have used MFP before but got lost along the way however now that I don't want to let my girlfriend down n vice versa we are extremely positive that we will keep this up.

It's been two months of healthy eating but only 1 week of MFC but we have seen massive improvements.
Weighing in at 14stone 10 pounds now.

I am extremely lucky to have someone to do it with, if you need support feel free to add because we all need someone to push you forward.
