Hello I'm trying to introduce myself, I am writing from a small portable device and not sure if this is working at all. I was on my fitness pal about a year ago I quite liked it but couldn't keep up. Going to try again. This is My first group.
I'm 52 I'm from Vancouver BC, my goal is to exercise one half hour every day. To lose 10 pounds or Transform those into muscle. I'm struggling quite a bit as I am a runner I've been a runner for years but I have many injuries, and my running days are numbered I'm afraid, it's my favorite exercise, it's the most bang for the amount of time you put in plus I have a dog so it's multitasking. My latest injury a calf tear means I haven't run in eight weeks, I tried once, But was unable to. I find any other exercise hard to motivate myself to do I'm Trying 30 day challenge I started yesterday anybody want to join me? So 30 days one half hour per day I did yesterday I'm trying to go to yoga today with a friend so any kind of exercise biking swimming yoga Pilates. I don't do you believe the half hour a day exercise is way better than three times a week for longer amounts of time -anyway I have but don't want to bore anybody was it thanks for being here

Hi :) It depends on the type of exercise. Long runs are good but you have to have recovery days too and you need to do some strenght training. Yoor body first burn the carbs and then the fat so long workouts are good if you have some rest days.
