It is so stupid of me. Had 10 oz of cake 1500 calories total and wanted to break for 3 days. Ate it all today. I am 650 calories over today and now feel so regretfully. Going to jogbfor 40 minutes to get back 350 calories but still...

All of us have days like that. Just log it and move on. Dwelling on it is just going to get you in a poor mindset.0

Ah give yourself a break.....
I've done that, so have heaps of others it doesn't mean that you have failed. Not. By. A. Long. Shot.
So you are over for one day, my advice is log it, move on.....tomorrow is a new day and berating yourself is just going to up your stress and no-one needs that.
Great idea about the jog....do it for yourself and enjoy it....maybe stay away from the scales if they are your thing for the next few days as you will probably see a just up but it will pass.....
The other thing too is that you can use this as a learning tool....have you denied yourself cake or whatever in your diet, were you tired, stressed or bored when you ate the cake.....explore the mindset yuo might surprise yourself. Also as you only have 20 lbs to lose maybe your deficit is too steep and this has all combined to have a bit of a bust out....so it might be wise to set your weight loss goals to a lower level.
All the best.0 -
Hey: I drank 1200 calories last Saturday night. It happens to all of us, because we're only human! Log it, chalk it up to experience, and move on0

Look at it this way - sometimes we need cake. Moreover, sometimes we deserve cake. Rather than focus on feeling disappointed, you can reflect on why you needed the cake. Are you stressed right now? Is it shark week? Did you 'ban' cake from your diet until you went a little crazy and binged? Are you restricting too hard, and therefore really hungry? Those are valid reasons - I think most of us have been there. Recognizing when you're triggered, and why, will help you nip it in the bud next time, and give you more control over how you want to cope.
Like, I can't completely restrict certain foods (ie, peanut butter), because after about a week I'll crave it so badly that I will literally sit and eat it with a spoon until I'm ill. So now I don't stop myself from buying it. It's better to have a sensible amount, and work it into my calories, than completely cut it and maybe loose weight a fraction of a pound faster.
There's always a reason (or reasons) that we do these things. Understanding what triggers you to eat 10oz of cake in one sitting will ultimately be 100x more beneficial to your weight loss journey than just feeling bad and trying to burn it off.
(Also, good work logging your cake. Recording binges can be really hard, and you should be pround of that )0 -
You went over less than one seventh of a pound. The impact is minimal.
If I were you I would sit/ or run and enjoy the pleasure the cake gave you.
It wasn't a binge, just a little over indulgence.
Remember this is a lifestyle change so you have to take these things in your stride. Accept and move on.

If it was good cake - then good for you. If the cake was kinda m'eh, then chalk it up to experience and make sure you eat better cake next time.0

You cannot uneat the food, so the guilt is serving no purpose. Let it go. This will not be the only time you have a minor setback. Try not to let this stuff rule your emotions!0

What is your weight loss set to a week? If your set to a 2lb loss then you didn't even eat at maintainance. If it is set to a 1lb loss you are just 150 calories over. Add up your deficit over the week and your probably regretting it for no reason.
I never regret cake0 -

MFP will give you calories for the week and your daily average for that week. How do these numbers look? Still under for the week? Good. Close to your goal for the week? OK. Over for the week? Time to re-think your habits.0 -
Make the good use out of that break. Refresh yourself mentally. Gotta take a break from the diet plan every now & then. Difficult to stick to it all the time.0
