Lost weight now need to tone up

I have lost 4st over the last 2 years, 3 1/2 at the beginning of last year and another 1/2 recently.
I am happy with my weight now, I just need to tone up my stomach and legs now and try to get rid of some excess skin, hopefully the toning will eliminate some of this.
I am very active on my feet for 10-12 hours a day, do aqua aerobics and Zumba the last two are both good for my cardio but I need to do some toning which I know is not going to be my thing as I think this probably means going to the gym.
Should I have a personal trainer, sounds expensive, could always drop that once I know what I am doing.
Any suggestions or recommendations
Thank you

Hi @angelacookieflynn First, seriously well done with your massive loss, fantastic!
I recently purchased some resistance bands (ones with handles, that come in light, medium, and heavy strengths, apparently good for beginners, but you can get any you like probably), fairly cheap. I went on a workout video spree to see how others were using them, and I'm finding them a really good workout.

I also purchased resistance bands with handles. I'm 60, walking about 20 miles per week, plus some elliptical. Fursian, can you steer me towards the videos you found most helpful to get started? TIA!0

You can eat at maintenance and either do a bodyweight or weight lifting program to help change your body fat % a bit (lose a little fat, gain a little muscle). If you don't want to join a gym, you can try body weight programs such as :You Are Your Own Gym, Convict Conditioning, the bodyweight routine in Strong Curves.
If you want to join a gym, you can have a trainer teach you the proper way to use a barbell and run compound lifts, then choose a program with a progressive overload: Strong Lifts 5x5, Starting Strength, New Rules of Lifting for Women, Strong Curves0 -
Hi @Briardlady , sure
Here's some that I liked

They stuck out to me, hope you find these useful, too! Luckily there is loads of videos for us to get our teeth into, with lots of creative ways to use the bands!
