The Time Paradox by Zimbardo. I'd put this on my list of life-changing books, even though it is taking me forever to finish it. It bogs down near the end when it gives stage-of-life examples.

Zimbardo is the same researcher famous for the prison experiment.

Formerly, my two favorite books about Abraham Lincoln were "Herndon's Lincoln" and "Abraham Lincoln" by Carl Sandburg. Now, I must add "Herndon's Informants" to my short list of great Lincoln books.

In providing the letters and interviews, collected by Lincoln's law partner Willam Herndon, from all the people who were closest to Lincoln, this book opens up a whole new window from which to view Lincoln. The reader gets to know Lincoln in a much more personal way than is possible from almost any other book.

Well I use a Kindle, but I'm currently reading Split Second by Douglas Richards. It's really good!

Gotta love my kindle. I take it everywhere so I can always read a chapter or two.

I'm reading a book called The Narrow Road to the Deep North. I'm almost halfway through, and it is good, but it is about prisoners of war in world war two (fiction) and the starvation and brutality descriptions are a bit much. It won an award, so I'm giving it a try even though it is not my usual subject matter to gravitate toward. I love these book threads, always looking for an entertaining read.

I also have a bunch of Spanish guidebooks, because, thrill of all thrills, I'm hope to go to Spain this spring.

The Girl in the Spiders Web. Not as good as the previous books, but an enjoyable read. Next up probably something from Jana DeLeon- fun mysteries.
