My first year of my transformation story

As I look back over the past year since I changed my nutrition/fitness lifestyle I have surpassed what I honestly thought I could ever do.
Sept 2014 I weighed in at 238 lbs and no motivation or energy to do anything. I knew I needed to change not only for me but my family. I found MFP and as they say the rest is history. I found an amazing support team ( I now call family) via MFP that has literally changed my world. I am now part of a fantastic online fitness group of over 2000 people from all over the world that have the same thing in mind and that is to get healthy, let it be lose 10 lbs, 200 lbs, 400 lbs or gain a few pounds through muscle. I have been given the tools to help me eat healthy and what excersize is right for me. We have amazing challenge groups of all different levels.
Today just over a year later I weighed in this morning at 171 lbs, that is 67 lbs gone forever. I was a size 22 and am now wearing a size 12. Is my journey done, heck no, I would like to lose another 20 lbs or so and then reevaluate my next goal, let it be loosing a bit more or just toning up.
I feel like a totally new woman and am on top of the world.
I have even started training to be a volunteer fire fighter at the age of 51.
As you can see by my before and after pictures a big difference. Don't give up on yourself! Press play everyday and keep your calories and macros in check and you can do it too!!

Great job, I am over 50, also, and I have lost 58lbs since March 2014, I started out at 234 lbs. I agree MFP has really helped me, too. Its all about keeping your calories in check and your head in the game. Congratulations0
