Iritaited when i have to guess calories

Had a half cup of thai tofu cabbage salad at the health food deli bar and really have no clue had to guess calories searched here and for recipes how do you guess when recipes very from 80-350 calories a serving and all look the same grrrr I don't really want to limit what I eat but I hate guessing

    I pick the highest one. If you don't know, though, you don't know...so it doesn't matter much what you pick because it will be wrong.

    Since I don't own a food scale, it's all guessing for me.

    I agree, guess high though.

    I usually choose the highest one, unless it's crazy sounding (1 slice of veggie thin crust pizza for 1,240 cal? no) then one of the higher mid range entries.

    I dunno, I think you could manage it. My work ordered a thinner crust veggie pizza. Sounds healthy and all that, right? Well when it came, it was covered in, I kid you not, pesto, olive oil, olive oil soaked sun dried tomatoes, and an insane amount of cheese. It was really WTF and reminded me why I don't bother ordering out for pizza. :p
