If you don't like the gym because of a lack of motivation. Try group exercices like Martial arts.
It is good for cardio (fight)
It is good for muscles (stances)
it is good for the brain (all the oriental philosophy)
it is good for self esteem
and as a bonus
good for self defence.

when I first started out, I took beginners yoga. it does increase muscle strength, balance, and all over good feeling about the gym. I started taking different ones after about a year of regular yoga, I'd try out the other classes. then personal training is also a good motivator.0

What I do is commit to going to a some group classes a couple times a week with a friend. Then I can't get out of it.0

If you want to exercise to become more fit, find something you might ENJOY. The gym atmosphere isn't for everyone. Just as cardio isn't for everyone. There are so many things you can do, don't force yourself to do something you don't like!0
