Feeling Better

I started my fitness makeover about a month ago, but got really serious with the help of this web site. Its really cool to have something to put down and be able to acknowledge the effort...
I have stopped drinking Diet Mt Dew and switched to water. And I am having trouble getting to my net calorie goal per day. I had to make myself eat today. I am realizing i was and probably still am a bit of an emotional eater. But realizing that has made me aware that a walk works just as well. I am loving the way my clothes already feel better. I am serious this time and serious about it staying off. I am want my sons to think there mommy is pretty. My 15 year old is constantly picking me up and testing his strength. I want it to be easier and not worry about him having a hernia when hes done playing with his mommy.. : )

You sound like a nice lady who is trying to keep the weight down for herself and family. I really do recommend that you continue with your efforts as keep your weight in check is lots easier when you are younger, instead of having lots to loose like me (40lbs). I wish I had been more diligent in my forties. However, I am trying each day and one of the most important things is trying not to eat because of "emotions" - I understand this feeling very well! Eating fills the voids we think we have in our lives, note I said "think" . In reality what we probably really need is that "good walk" or some effort to change our thought process. Keep strong and stick to your goals, each day is a new beginning! I am sure your sons will be picking you up forever!
Good Luck

I think you look great! I am proud of you for switching to water...I need to do the same! I keep trying to tell myself it's not just a diet but a new way of life. Keep up the good work!0
