My family has had a wii fit for a long time now. I had forgotten about it until just now. I was wondering from other people's experience, can the wii game actually help lose weight and reach weight loss goals or is it just a fun game for kids? Help...?

I used it to lose weight when I didn't have access to a gym or equipment. This was years ago when it first came out.
Ultimately, calories in vs calories out is most important. Wii Fit won't make you magically lose weight. However, it is a fun way to stay active and motivate you to exercise along with having a scale with a graph which helps keep you accountable.0 -
It's a light workout. You could add weights to make it more challenging. It's good to train balance. But if you're already using the Wii then you can probably pick up some better training games for cheap. Like EA sports Active.0

I have used EA NFL Workout with success in losing weight on my WII.0
