Hey all,
At the age of 19 (which I am until tomorrow) I was super unhappy with my body. After 3 knee surgeries, I couldn't play sports or do much active stuff. Also, a bad year including my parents divorce and engineering school getting tough ( still pushing through) made me gain some excess weight. Although I had been lifting weights for some time, I was ready to step it up. I hired a coach, and have since gained so much strength and lost 20 lbs through reverse dieting. Currently eating over 2500 cals per day! No longer feeling bad about myself, and ready to hit the stage in April as a figure competitor. Trust me, the weights will become addicting and are crucial to losing weight as well as actually eating good amounts of food! You got this!

Good for you! Your determination shows through. Good luck with the competition, and engineering school!
