I just ate some pasta and I have no idea if I ate alot and I'm thinking I ate way more calories than I thought. The box said the serving size is 2oz dry. When you weigh 2 ounces of cooked pasta it's like nothing!

Get a food scale and weigh out your pasta dry. A serving size dry is not going to be the same cooked... you know... because of water and expansion and all that.

    Weigh your food.

2 oz of dry pasta doesn't look like much before it's cooked. Why would you weigh it cooked, if the box states it's 2oz dry?
If you took it out of a new box of pasta, you could weigh what's left in the box (DRY) and subtract it from the total amount that's supposed to come in the box to see how much you ate, if you're really concerned.

I had this same issue a few days ago and hadn't thought about it before cooking the pasta. So today I measured out one 2 oz serving (56g) dry. After cooking, that same pasta was 130g. BTW this was Barilla protein plus Penne. Turns out I dramatically underestimated my pasta the other night. I probably had 1/4-1/3 of a serving but logged it as a whole serving then. Tonight I corrected for the proper weight.

If you truly don't know how much dry pasta you ate, as a very rough rule of thumb, pasta doubles in weight when cooked.

It's 2 oz of DRY pasta. With my brand (Ronzoni whole wheat) it ends up about 130g of cooked pasta (I cook it 9 minutes). Typically I have 1.5 serving though.

No I wouldn't imagine it would be. But there is a big difference between dry and cooked pasta. 2 oz dry is a pretty good sized serving once cooked.
