Ok, I'll start by introducing myself.

I am 35, wife, mother of 2, work full time and always on the go. This has lead me to food on the run...fast food, ball field food, gas station quickies and too much of all of them. So, after many failed "diet" attempts, I went all out. I am 2.5 weeks post gastric bypass. I know, some of you think this is the easy way out, but let me tell you. There is nothing easy about this. (If you have a negative opinion, I would appreciate that you keep it to your self and keep being the Billy Badass that you are.) I am looking for some people that are wanting to be friends no matter how you approach your journey. I have a great family but they don't know what it is like trying to be a better me. If you are looking for someone to run this road with, let's be friends!

It doesn't matter how you approach your weight loss journey, the bottom line is you put a plan in action to start a journey to a new and healthier you and that my dear is a great accomplishment. I too am 35 year old mother, I work full time and go to school so I lived off of fast food, as it was always just easier for me. Then one day I woke up and decided I've had enough, no more of the tired sluggish feeling I had. I put together a plan for 30 days to eliminate fast food, soda, and most processed foods and learned to cook wholesome foods for myself. I only ate fresh fruits and veggies and lean meats, whole grains, and minimal fat. I increased my water intake as well. In that 30 days I learned so much about food, I challenged my taste buds, and learned to make healthier versions of my favorite fast food dishes. In that 30 days, I lost 12.6 pounds. Now I pretty much stick to 85/15, I'm 2 1/2 months into my journey and 21 pounds down so far with no plans of giving up. You can do it too, just remember the bypass is only the first step and it does not bring success on its own. you have to put in the rest of the work but through hard work and determination you can succeed. Please feel free to add me and we can go at this together :)
