Medjool Dates

I have quite a few recipes that call for Medjool dates, which I have not seen in our local grocery stores, has anyone bought any? If so, where is it best to purchase them? Are other types of dates equal in nutrition?

At my grocery stores they are usually by the nuts. The also sell them at our bulk food store, maybe check there?0

I buy the econo size bag of dates at the local BJs. My kids think they are giant raisins and eat them all the time. I use them to replace things that are worse in pie crusts and granola bars. I love this fruit tart recipe that uses dates and nuts for the tart crust.
