calories

I'm having a problem reaching 1000 calories a day that is with eating much bigger portions than I was before I began using this app. I recently quit smoking cigarettes in may and replaced it with gym and did tracking. I eat 3 full meals a day but rarely do I reach 1000 calories. And I'm having a hard time getting the protein I need without consuming to many carbs.
