Night before competition.

Curious to hear what other people do the night before competitions. I've done races and they all ended well but this time I'm competing in a Crossfit competition. This last week I've been eating mostly whole foods with some exceptions. Now I'm trying to figure what to do for tonight. I'm not a huge pasta fan. Do I go off and do my usual pizza or should I stay with whole foods but emphasize carbs.

Mmmmmm, pizza. Yum. This is what I usually do, but I don't tend to change my diet often. If you've been avoiding greasy foods, pizza may upset your stomach, which would be bad on race day. Maybe stick to whole foods for now and have pizza AFTER the race.

"I've done races and they all ended well..."

Why would you change from something that has worked in the past? If it's not broke...

"This last week I've been eating mostly whole foods with some exceptions." What were you doing prior to the change to "whole foods"? Why the change?

Pizza is a "partial food" as opposed to a "whole food"?

My suggestion, do what you have been doing before your prior races which have ended well and see how it goes. They don't shoot you if you do poorly, do they?

How about adding a nice bagel with cream cheese to your regular day.
That ups your carbs and is easy to digest.

Don't do anything different. You can eat between wods at the comp, so you'll be fine

I agree with this. Don't do anything to risk being ill. And, as others have said, do what you've been doing in the past.
