clothes are getting baggy but no inches lost?

So it been around 3 months now since dieting and the numbers are going down slowly but I'm okay with that
One thing that is confusing me though is that I just had to buy a belt for my jeans since they are really baggy on me now but yet my measurements remain the same? I know I'm definitely getting slimmer since I just went down a cup size in bra size also but all my before and after photos I took look identical. Did I measure wrong somehow or is this a thing???
(My stomach feels very soft also)

Sounds like measurement error to me.0

If your clothes are baggy, then I'd say you measured wrong the first time or not in the same place.0

My money's on measurement error. You might try measuring a different way. I found it's more accurate (for me) to take a long piece of string, wrap it around from the back til the two ends touch in the front, then mark that with a sharpie and measure that length. When I try to do it with an actual measuring tape I mess it up, but that's probably user error....0

It's incredibly hard to measure exactly the same way every time. The only way to really track inches lost is over long periods of time in order to account for the variability in the measurement process.
If your clothes are loser, you've probably lost inches.0 -
Your clothes are looser, so you've lost the weight. Congrats. I am always off on my measurements.0

Sounds like you lost inches in your boobs (reduced cup size) first. You can't pick and choose where you lose the fat. Your body will pick it for you. Sounds like the rest of your body will catch up eventually and yes, measurements (meaning with a tape measure) is hard to duplicate, but as long as your clothes are looser, then you are doing something right.0
