But what about... yeah, what he said.0

I know most diet pills are scams and no magic pill will make you lose weight, but nothing over the counter even natural stuff helps boost metabolism?0
-
Nope. No such thing exists.
But I recently found a fiber supplement that helps me feel a bit fuller for a bit longer, but it's just fiber not a magic method that causes weight loss. Fiber was something I was really lacking before, and it just so happens to help satiate my appetite as a surprise benefit.
Exercise if you want to "boost" your metabolism.0 -
You could consume the heck out of some caffeine, but it isn't much and almost certainly isn't worth it.
Almost certainly your metabolism is just fine, though.0 -
Correct....at least not to any significantly measurable effect.
I mean caffeine might give you a small temporary jolt...but we're not talking about losing an additional pound a week by popping pills or anything.

Nope, but they can cause kidney and liver damage. That's always exciting!0 -
Right, I'm watching my caloric intake very closely.
Im not looking for a short cut, just wondering if there are any supplements that can be helpful. But apparently there aren't0 -
There aren't. It would be nice if there were.0

Yep...if there were I doubt obesity would be such a major health issue.0 -

Lifting weights is probably the closest thing you'll get to the promised results of weight loss pills. It will help you keep your muscle, so you'll have less weight to lose in the long run.0 -

Patience. And support from MFPForum!!!! Those are more helpful than any pill with claims about helping you. Pills don't help people.... PEOPLE help people0 -
And monkies with guns kill people.
OP... everyone here has given you awesome advice. Be patient and you will succeed.
