Hello guys. Just wondering if it's a good idea to decrease calorie intake to loose weight quicker? And does this have a negative long term affect (for example lowering how many calories your body burns/ lower metabolism) thank you all

Faster is not necessarily better. From my understanding it can have a mild impact on the overall number of calories your body will burn in a day, but there are other concerns as well. Meeting your nutritional needs, you may experience more hunger which could set you up for binges or giving up altogether.

My advice? Have some patience. You will get there and feel better for it.

You should only aim to lose 1 pound a week, for a 25 to 50 pound; weight loss goal & only 0.5 pounds a week, for any weight loss goals; below 25 pounds.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Also - no one wants to be miserable, mood-swinging and deprived.

I used the system and set my loss for 2 lbs. Per week. Today I have to settle for 1lb weekly or exercise to death...not happening!
