Quick background..
Chronic yo yo dieter here I've lost and regained the same 60 pounds for the past 5 years. I've starved myself, over exercised, had junk food binges, gone vegetarian, done a whole 30, Atkins, WW, intermittent fasting, no s diet..lol I could go on and on!!
So..now I want to be healthy, I have another 30 ponds to lose to obtain my healthy realistic goal weight. I'm having a problem finding a balance..one where I can indulge a little bit eat healthy most of the time. I'm very much a all or nothing type of person and I'm so tired of this!! I just want to be able to keep up a healthy lifestyle!!
Ideas, thoughts?! I want to make this change and don't know where to start! Thanks

It will become a lot easier if you would understand what you need to do and why to reach your goal - knowledge. No need to become a doctor but some self-education will go a long way.0

I have that similar "all or nothing" personality. Moderation is hard for me, which is why I can lose weight but have had a hard time maintaining once I've reached my goal. I'm working on understanding that and learning that I can do moderation, by committing to logging everything, good or bad, and staying under my calories most of the time. I've decided that that isn't a "great mystery" nor is it rocket science. I don't need to do more than that, and I'll stop gaining and losing and gaining. I'm also eating healthy foods and exercising, but I've done that most of my adult life. I think that approach might work for you as well.0
