Want to gain weight by back logging calories

The theory behind back loading calories means that you have to eat most of your calories in the evening. I like this idea cos I am not a morning person and dont like eating early in the day. So I start the day like this:
Breakfast 150cals, snack 75-100cals, lunch 325-350cals. That leaves the rest to fit in over dinner and supper.
Let's have your ideas people. Sarcasm not appreciated thanks.

Meal timing is a matter of preference. If you want to gain that way, the key will be to eat enough calories in the evening. If you have trouble fitting everything in, just eat a little more in the morning, until you don't have too much trouble with the bigger meals later.0

I am finding it very hard to gain weight. When I started my journey 4 years ago I had 30 Kgs to lose, that was easy. I logged my Calories and the weight disappeared. Now, it's hard to break the mental boundaries I imposed upon myself which are 200 Cal Breakfast, 300 Cal respectively Lunch and Supper. I also restricted myself to under 50 gr Carbs per day and for the life of me, I now mentally cannot break those boundaries. Any help/guidance will be appreciated. I am now bony, underweight, and mentally stuck in a rut!0

Oh, vern, I really feel for you. I suppose you will just have to test the water and see what's the worst that could happen if you were to slightly increase those boundaries. Maybe you will feel so proud of yourself you will see it's ok. I don't have strict boundaries just guidelines so I can reach my goal.0

I'll probably be doing something similar. I like to eat at night/all night and my bulking calories are only 2000 to start.0

Yep. Although, I tend to see this more often while in a cut because it can make it more difficult to get a ton of calories at the end of the day. And really the last thing you would want to do is not get enough calories.

It works for me because I can eat a lot of food when I'm most hungry and not feel deprived. When you are gaining, you need to eat more than you would to maintain. Many people struggle with that, and if you are going to back load, it may be easier to swap out some of your typical foods with high calorie ones. Then you don't have a huge increase in volume of food you have to eat in a limited time.
Basically, try it out and see if it works. If you can't hit your goals, maybe you'll need to start a little earlier or having larger early meals.

do whatever allows you to get into a caloric surplus and is sustainable for you.0

For weight gain, the thing that matters is getting into a surplus. Without a surplus, you're not going to gain, no matter when you eat your calories. What's your daily caloric goal? The estimates in your OP only give you 600 calories during the day; I wouldn't be able to hit my surplus goal reliably every day if I had to eat 1500+ calories every evening. If it works for you, though, go for it.0

That's exactly how I do it. I save the calories for the evening. I don't want to get home at 5 PM starving and have 400 calories to hold me over for the next 6 hours.
I usually have protein powder, mixed thick so I can eat with a spoon, with fruits, honey and either nuts or granola or both at the end of the day. Chocolate protein powder with honey is outstandingly good!!!!!0
