hello-:)
any carb cyclers out here? i am generally eating low carb below100g since jan this year, but sometimes could go above on rare occasion.
this weeekend however i felt under the weather like flu is coming over me and i craved carbs mostly grains like crossaint, cereal, and fruit / fruit smoothies....
so it all added up to many calories, it was like 10,000 kcals just those 3 days mostly made out of cereals with yogurt and fruit & 2 crossaints...i feel actually better flu wise but i shot 5 pounds like overnight and that was yesterday i had 600g carbs today & 5000kcal to get rid of hunger; the other days were like 200g around 2.5kcals; has anyone have experience? i heard about carb / calorie cycling but does this really work and people dont gain? also how mentally i will crash if i go back to my regural diet tommorow?
thanks-:)

thanks, am not really asking for motivation am asking for how i will feel mentally and how much water i will retain and how fast that will come off. i dont really need motivation. i need facts / experience... do you still think am posting in wrong section?0 -

I eat low carbs pretty steadily. I imagine there will be some water weight movement as you go from high to low to high carbs. You may need more sodium, potassium and magnesium when your carbs are lower to account for the lost water and electrolytes.
Beyond that, I'm afraid I can't help. I find staying low carb helps with hunger and my health, so I haven't looked into cycling carbs back in - I feel better with low carbs.
Good luck.0 -
Hi there is a group in the motivation thread call carb cycles unite it has a lot of carb cycles that are helpful.
Basically you alternate days like lc lc hc lc lc hc free day so on low carb day I eat 1300 oon hc day 1600 on free 2100.
