Squatting for mAsssss ;)

It's probably been asked a trillion times before. But how many times per week do you recommend squatting for huge quads and lower body?
I do a ton of other leg exercises.
But I'm just talking squatting right now.
I want trunks.
I was squatting 3x a week.
Then 2x a week..
And now my new routine has me squatting 1x a week with another day of legs, just no back squat... It's a Romanian split squat.
Do you think that's enough?..
What has gotten you great results?
