5 days in and thought I was doing well. I put on 2lbs. Too tired to train so I can't blame it on muscle increase. Help!!

Sodium, TOM if female... If you're counting accurately you WILL lose. Not every week, but you will. Patience grasshopper, patience.

Weight loss isn't linear. Give it a few more weeks and reassess.

ETA: And be patient :) you didn't put on weight overnight, so it won't come off overnight.

Patience. A week is a very short time in the scheme of things and you may be retaining water from exercise or sodium or for some other reason. Doesn't necessarily mean fat. Stay under your calorie goal and be patient.

Weight loss is not linear. There will be some ups and hopefully many downs.

Things that can affect weight loss:
    TOM
    Sodium
sudden increase in exercise (holds onto some water weight)

If you do not have one, I suggest investing in a food scale to help ensure you are in a deficit.

With only 6 pounds to lose, logging has to be very tight, but as aforementioned, it takes longer than a week.
