Back on track and looking for friends for sharing encouragement

struggling with 20lbs weight gain after losing over 100 pounds in 2008-2009. I have slipped back into sugar monster's hands and need to pull myself back together. I have bought me a Fitbit and desperately want to get back into my fitness routine! I struggled with many life changes and am trying not to beat myself up too bad but I am getting depressed when I saw the scale this morning. Need some encouragement to get me hopping again!

    Monster is a perfect word for it!!! Lol. Halloween candy is a definite monster for me this week. That's amazing you lost 100 lbs before!! Once you get on a roll I know you can do it. :)

    Welcome back CJboot. 100 pounds lost is amazing! I, too, am back after a careless summer. I found that all I needed was to start logging again. And the first 10 pounds went fast, mostly water weight I guess. I'm sure that will happen to you too. The next 10, I know, will be more work. Don't beat yourself up, you know what to do and that you're worth it! Whatever you do, don't start buying bigger clothes to match your weight gain, just know that even though everything might feel a bit tight now, it's only for a short while. In only a couple of weeks everything will be back to normal! Consider the number on the scale a wake up call, you've got this!
