I recently purchased his book of recipes. Mostly to have a go to guide for recipes in the book and not have to use Internet because I do not have Internet where I live.
Looking at his protein shakes I keyed in the same ingredients into my fitness pal and found a huge discrepancy.
Well I don't intend to follow his plan 100% because I'm not about to give up bacon and cheese but I'm going to come back. I already feel less bloated in three days.
My biggest concern is trusting his caloric values of his recipes....
Any run into this problem is you type in recipes on your own, word for word, product by product?
I can see a 10-15 calorie difference but I am getting a 100+ calorie difference!

Are you sure the serving sizes are the same?

Depending on the ingredients, the USDA food search is probably your best bet for what nutrition the ingredients actually have.

    Yes.
Also I am not enjoying the recipes in the book..
Mostly for the extremely small portion sizes.
Makes me think of those fancy high priced restaurants where the serving sizes are miniature.
    Cookbook fail.

Most diets that talk about belly fat eliminate foods that are known to bloat or that many people can be allergic to without knowing. They also tend to have smaller portion sizes, that way you aren't digesting much at once.

If you want lower calorie recipes with decent portions check out the Skinny Taste website.
