Hi everyone, I'm Brittany!
I started my weight loss journey in July 2013. Prior to then, I was up and down on my weight. I guess the highest number I ever remember seeing on the scale was 190.. that was scary to me, so I decided to get my butt in gear. I joined Weight Watchers in July and I've been steady at it ever since. I did take a brief hiatus, but I finally reached my goal weight in April of this year... at 132 lbs. Admittedly, I was a cardio bunny, and considered myself "skinny fat". 132 lbs and 25% body fat -- not ideal. I've been up and down ever since April. Currently I am 145 lbs and doing cardio 2 times a week and lifting 3 times per week and following a macro lifestyle, instead of the Weight Watchers points. I have found that their point system is no longer working for me, although it was a great plan when I did lose all my weight.
I'm striving to be 138-140 and under 20% body fat. The number on the scale will eventually go down, but I am more concerned about body fat percentage.
Look forward to chatting with a lot of you! Good look on all of your journies... we are in this together
