Hello can anyone recommend a cooked meal that is vegetarian and not too much more than 200 cals? I'm not really feeling fruit as I've eaten a lot today but after snacking (whoops) I don't have many calories left. Thanks!

What kind of veggies do you have on hand? Protein? Spices? Pasta? Do you have some chicken soup base? Give me a list of ingredients and I might be able to come up with something.

Any meal can be 200 calories if the serving is small enough.

    Portabella Mushroom Cap Personal Pizza

1 portabella mushroom cap (remove the gills)
    Pasta sauce (1/4 cup)
1 slice of deli cheese (I used swiss)

    Toppings of choice
-I sauteed garlic, asparagus, spinach, and arugula

    How to prepare:
Bake portabella mushroom cap until tender
    Spoon in tomato sauce
Add in sauteed garlic, asparagus, spinach, and arugula
    Top with slice of cheese
    Throw on some sliced tomato

    Cook until cheese is brown.

This is one of my favorite nighttime snacks. It comes to about 190 calories so I usually eat two.

I'd probably have some shrimp and some veggies...and be starving.

Why not eat at maintenance for today and plan better tomorrow. It's life, this happens.

Baked brussel sprouts with chili lime sauce and 4 oz of tilapia (white fish), either baked or pan fried.

Try some sauteed eggplant with zucchini noodles in a light olive oil garlic sauce. Add in some artichokes and broccoli maybe? Or spagetti squash with a garlic herbed olive oil sauce. When I want low cal, I try low carbs, although, I usually do pesto with my zucchini noodles or spaghetti sauce and cheese with my spaghetti squash, but that would be over 200cals.

    200 calories for a MEAL?

Even if you are at a small weight, that's more like a snack. For most of us, it's more like an ingredient. But you can eat just about anything in small enough portions to make it 200 calories if you want.

Frozen ravioli and sauce.......think it's about 180 altogether for 7 pieces.
