Weight loss before gain

I am trying to gain about 15 pounds. After starting this app, I realized I only usually eat 600 calories a day. My caloric goal is 2400, and of course I gained a lot of weight after the first day, but am now losing a pound a day. This is only my third day. Is this normal? And does this app recalculate if you aren't gaining weight?

Your body will naturally fluctuate, just like it does while losing weight. Glycogen levels, food in your stuff, water weight from exercise, hormones, etc.. all effect the ups and downs. Look at weight gain, like weight loss, over a 4-6 week period.0
