Walmart/Kroger bakery

Is it possible to just purchase a single cupcake at either one instead of buying the whole 4-6 pack ones? I'm craving a cupcake and i rather get one there than at Gigi's cupcakes because they are 780 calorie per cupcake and under 400 for one at Walmart or Kroger. What about cookies too? I either crave a cupcake or cookie and rather purchase a single one.

You could make your own or buy the 4 pack and freeze the rest.

Call the bakery at the stores to ask. They might do that for you.

The neighborhood walk arts usually have individual cupcakes and packs of three cookies (maybe not in the bakery section- I've only seen the cookies near checkout), and the both bakeries have individual cake slices, or packs of two slices at the ones near me

I've always seen single cupcakes for sale at the bakery counter at the ones by me. Walmart has never had a person staffing the counter, so that may depend on your store, but I've had good luck with Kroger. My issue is that the single ones tend to look larger than the packs.

At my local Kroger there is a case that sells individual baked goods - cupcakes, bagels, donuts, etc. I'm not sure I've ever seen a single cookie, though. But they would probably sell you one if you ask at the counter.

I mix a box of sugar-free devil's food cake mix, and can of pumpkin, and a few walnuts in a bowl and bake the batter in muffin tins. I keep some in the refrigerator and the rest in the freezer so if I just really need something like chocolate cake, I have it right there. . . for under 125 calories each. Giving up nearly all of grocery store bakery goods, which aren't that good anyway, was a good idea for me.

  • Thank u, I just rather buy just one than buy a whole container because I don't want that many cupcakes. Just need 1 to satisfy the craving.

I recall seeing cupcakes sold individually at my local Walmart in the bakery/bread department. That being said, mine carries a lot of products others don't seem to have.
I'm not sure about Kroger as there's none near me.
However, if you happen to have a Target near you I've seen tons of individual cupcakes sold there with nutritional information and everything in their bread department. :)
  • Is it true that the Old Fashioned Pies (4 oz) are between 320-380 calories for the whole pie? (Doing research on my cravings because I'm trying to fit them in my daily calories and to treat myself to 1 treat a day) today I had a brownie at Newks along with my chicken Caesar with raspberry vinigrette and I was satisfied for the whole day and I was curious about these pies because I plan on walking around Walmart to see what they had. I limit my treats to under 400 calories.
  • How big are they? And any ideas for cupcakes, cookies, pies ect.?
